Astra Agro expands into poultry feed business
Astra Agro Lestari, the plantation unit of PT Astra International, is planning to expand its business into poultry feed, said CEO Widya Wiryawan.
The plan is to acquire a poultry feed firm in East Java. The company is targeting 15.8 trillion rupiah in revenue this year, up 25% from last year’s 12.67 trillion rupiah.
Revenue in the first half of this year reached 8 trillion rupiah, up 5.4 trillion rupiah a year earlier.
