SHV increases share in Nutreco to 23.99%
On January 5th, investment company SHV acquired over 1.44 million ordinary shares in Dutch feed company Nutreco. The average price paid per share was €44.48.
On December 23rd, SHV holdings already bought a large chunk of shares (nearly 2.3 million) for an average price of €44.20 per share. In total, SHV now owns 16,852,953 shares in Nutreco, corresponding to 23.99% of the share capital.
At the end of last year, SHV announced it wanted to acquire the whole company (for €44.50 per share). In December, this plan was authorised by the European Commission.
Nutreco will hold a shareholders meeting on February 9th, where the SHV offer will be discussed.
