Shrimp grow well on feather meal as protein source
Rendered animal by-products are not new and have been used as animal feeds since the middle of 19th century. However, only recenly have researchers shown that these by-products can be successfully used as protein and energy sources in the field of aquaculture in feeding shrimp.
