Mycotoxins– the silent threat

Some species of fungi have saved lives, but others pose a serious threat to animal and human health. Their ubiquity in nature and the lack of predictability with which their defence mechanisms- mycotoxins- are triggered has led to real concerns. Resarchers are busy finding an effective solution.
