Biomin won the Outstanding Participation award for its approach on deactivating mycotoxins at the TropNutriticion Conference in India.

The four-day international conference on animal nutrition in tropics,
“TropNutrition-2007”, organized by the Animal Nutrition Society of India (ANSI)
and the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), concluded on 7th October 2007
at Karnal, Haryana state of India.

The International conference was
especially aimed at providing a common platform to animal nutritionists, feed
manufacturers and the farmers (the end users) to address various issues
including constraints and opportunities, in the area of tropical animal
nutrition.

In different technical sessions as many as 500 delegates,
representing India, US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Iran, Pakistan,
Zambia and Myanmar, participated in the conference.

Dr. Devendra S Verma,
technical director of Biomin India, was invited to deliver his presentation on
“Combined strategies guarantee mycotoxin control” as one of the main speeches at
the event.

The judges of the presentation opined that Biomin’s approach
on mycotoxins holds a promising tool to control mycotoxins in dairy feeds that
had a direct bearing on milk production and the reproduction of dairy
animals.
