Olmix receives award at Livestock Asia

The show, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 23-25, attracted 250
exhibitors and 6,000 trade professionals representing farmers, meat processors,
food importers, feed millers and retailers among others.

Mycotoxins in feed
MTox plus is a natural solution
for mycotoxins in feed. The product is the result of 3 years research involving
the National Research Institute of France, the Seaweed Centre and National
chemical engineering school in Mulhouse and it is now available in Asia, with a
local partner in Malaysia through Progress Agriculture &
Farming.

Mycotoxins are a group of various secondary metabolites produced
by fungi that occur in raw materials – grain. Pigs are quite sensitive to
mycotoxins. Effects of high levels of mycotoxins are varied – for example,
vomiting, reduced feed intake, lower fertility rates, and increasing vet costs
for the pig farmers.
