Produmix receives Exports Award
Produmix, the Spanish piglet nutrition company, received the Exports Award directly from Don Félipe de Borbón, prince of Spain at ceremony held in Logroño.
The award, promoted by the Agency of Development of La Rioja, the Chamber of
Commerce and the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade, is given to companies that
devote important human, material and technological resources to encourage
exports of their products on international markets.
With its nucleus for
piglets, the company has succeeded in entering markets on three continents. In
1995, it began exporting to Italy. Between 1998 and 2000, a First Exporting Plan
was embarked on with promotional activity in Central America. A Consolidation
Plan emerged in 2006, through which 93% of sales originated outside of Spain.
