Fourteen new weigh feeders for Sloten BV

Several Siemens techniques are integrated in the
entire control system. This results in a fully vertical and horizontal data
transparent system, including a direct interface with the Sloten ERP
environment. The new system will bring Sloten an improved efficiency of its
production process, more flexibility and an extended capacity.

Eight months
The overall engineering took place over
a period of eight months. Last week the plant was shut down for only seven days,
to enable 40 engineers and technicians to do the last fine tuning and testing.
Now the reconstruction has been finalized. The production of Sloten is already
fully back in business.

Expanding
With this new
system, a platform has been created for further production automation expanding.
Sloten invests in its productive capacity in order to meet the worldwide growing
demand.
