FAO in France joins the Skiold Group

Skiold France, subsidiary of the Danish group Skiold, announces that it has just taken over control of the company FAO situated in Vitré, France.

Via this acquisition the Skiold group has further reinforced its position as a European leader in the field of grain processing and livestock feeding. FAO will in turn profit from the synergy of working with other companies within the group, and will be able to continue its development with notably access to new European and worldwide markets.

About Skiold
The group Skiold is specialized in grain processing, milling and mixing equipment, and feed distribution systems for pigs and cattle. The group has a dozen companies implanted throughout Europe, employs 750 people, and has a total annual turnover of €110 million. Skiold France, run by Mr. Régis Robilliard, is already the owner of the company Acemo, acquired in 1998, and which employs 100 people in Pontivy (Morbihan). Acemo designs and manufactures equipment for the storage and handling of grain, Mill & Mix plants, and feed distribution systems for pigs and cattle.

About FAO
FAO has been situated in Vitré since 1840 and employs 120 people (20 of which are in a second establishment based in St. Gervais les 3 Clochers). FAO constructs, commercializes and installs full turn-key projects for industrial sites and farms.
