Agro Korn introduces natural vitamin E source
Agro Korn in Denmark has introduced a natural vitamin E source for animals. The product – Vitapherole® EP 1000/50 % – is a natural vitamin E on alcohol form derived from non-GMO soy beans bound on silica.
This product is used for mixing in compound feed. For use with the individual pig producer the company has developed VitaVit® Natur E, – a less concentrated version mixed in wheat middlings and calcium carbonate.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that is required for animal growth, to maintain immune function and animal health. Trials at Aarhus University in Denmark indicate that the natural vitamin E is also heat stable after mixing in compound feed.
