DSM Nutrition Award 2011: Call for nominations

Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, invites nominations for the DSM Nutrition Award 2011 for research on Poultry Nutrition. The Award – which carries a cash prize of EUR 50,000 – has been established to recognize and reward excellence in innovative research in the nutritional sciences.

 The DSM Nutrition Award 2011 will be granted for outstanding achievements in research related to Poultry Nutrition. Scientists who have made major contributions to fundamental or applied research in this field can be nominated for the award. A prime requirement is that the candidate’s research must have significantly advanced the world’s understanding and knowledge of key questions in the field of Poultry Nutrition. An international judging committee will review the nominations and select the winner.
 
Candidates* for the award can be put forward by nomination only. Candidates cannot nominate themselves.
 
Nominations must be made using the nomination form on DSM’s awards website at www.innovationawards.dsm.com. Supporting documents should be submitted in electronic form to Samia Bouhabila (samia.bouhabila@dsm.com), who can also be contacted for further information regarding the DSM Nutrition Award 2011.
 
 
Closing date: May 31, 2011
 
The award will be presented at a major Poultry conference in 2011. The award recipient must be present to accept the award and present a paper on his/her research achievements.
