Biomin Germany receives DLG-quality mark

05-07-2011 | |

DLG (German Agricultural Society) has awarded international manufacturer of feed additives and animal feed Biomin the quality mark for compound feed and mineral feeds.

The presentation of the certificates was recently at the production facility in Aalen (Baden-Württemberg) by the Deputy Head of the certification body DLG Dr. Walter Staudacher to the managing directors of Biomin Germany Patrick Sonderen and Dr. Walter Nies.

Biomin Germany voluntarily undergoes the regular and unannounced quality control audits of DLG and complements the company’s own checks of raw materials and finished products.

Farmers that purchased the feeds can be sure that in addition to the declared quality ingredients also a high feed value according to DLG standard is ensured.

Biomin Germany on 1 December 2010, has taken over the production site of SCA Special Feeds in Aalen and has converted it to produce its own mineral supplements, milk replacers, and special feeds for cattle and pigs.
