Asia feed expo is nearing

31-08-2011 | |

Fiaap Asia, Victam Asia, & Grapas Asia 2012 are nearing as the shows are open from 15 – 17 February next year. They will be held in the purpose-built exhibition and conference centre of BITEC – the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre.

BITEC is now connected to the BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit Line from On Nut to Bearing. Visitors are now able to get off at Bang Na Station and enter a covered, air-conditioned walkway directly into BITEC.

This now makes access to the exhibition halls much easier. It is only a 20 minute ride from downtown Bangkok, and it is cheap and air-conditioned.

Innovation award
The shows have moved but they are also bigger than the last event in 2010. The organizers also understand that a number of new products will be launched at the event. AllAboutFeed has agreed to give out a Nutrition Innovation Award for the first time in Thailand.

Visitors will see exhibitors attending together in three different but related shows:
Fiaap Asia 2012 – Feed Ingredients & Additives Asia Pacific is exactly what its title says. It is Asia’s only show and conference dedicated to the specialist ingredients and additives used in the safe and cost-efficient formulation of animal feeds, aquafeed and dry petfoods.

Exhibitors will be displaying the latest products from within this important sector of the feed industry.

Victam Asia 2012 is Asia’s largest and premier exhibition for the specialist, and also for the ancillary equipment and technology that is so necessary for the production of animal feeds, aquafeed and dry petfoods.

Visitors will see the very latest technology from the world’s leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of this technology.

Also at Victam you will see technology for biomass pelleting. Biomass pellets are processed from organic waste and are used as alternative source for green energy.

This heat source is becoming more important throughout the world as conventional energy supplies become harder and increasingly expensive to extract.

Many of the major companies which provide pellet mills for feed plants will be at the show and will be able to discuss their biomass pelleting technology.

Grapas Asia 2012 profiles the latest technology and systems for rice & flour milling, grain processing, preservation, storage and movement, noodle, breakfast cereal & extruded snack production. Major international companies will be displaying the latest equipment used in these important processes.

There will also be a number of companies that are capable of supplying ancillary equipment for the feed, biomass, grain industries, etc. This equipment will range from silos, conveyors, bagging machines, magnetic systems, QC, computers/programmes, trucks etc.

The shows are open for three days. Visitors will be able to register shortly for free.

The exhibitions will also be supported by the following conferences:
  • The FIAAP Conference 2012
  • Petfood Forum Asia 2012
  • Aquafeed Horizons Asia 2012
  • The Thai Feed Conference 2012.
  • The GRAPAS Asia Conference 2012
