Eurofins acquires LabCo
Eurofins Food Testing Rotterdam, part of the worldwide network of Eurofins, has acquired all activities of LabCo Laboratory Services (LabCo). This laboratory for physicochemical and microbiological analysis located in Rotterdam will now operate under the name Eurofins | LabCo.
The relaunch of LabCo has secured continuation of all activities of the company. Customers will immediately gain access to Eurofins’ wide range of services across the food and feed sector.
The former LabCo has continuously worked in accordance with ISO / IEC 17025 accreditation. All other certifications are continued under the name of the legal entity Eurofins Food Testing Rotterdam.
Through its international network of over 150 laboratories in Europe, North and South America and the Far East, Eurofins contributes to a widening of the testing and expertise of LabCo.
In the next three months, the LabCo activities will be moved to the Eurofins laboratory that is located in Barendrecht.
The acquired activities will be managed by the current management team of Eurofins: Mrs. Helen Jong, business unit manager and Dr. Hans van der Moolen, laboratory manager.
The parties expect a seamless integration and Eurofins│LabCo will retain all certifications and accreditations, as well as key employees.
