Premier Nutrition teams up with South Korean DongA One
UK based animal nutrition business, Premier Nutrition, has signed an agreement with DongA One Corporation of South Korea, to provide technical support and animal feed supplements from its manufacturing base in Rugeley, Staffordshire.
As specialist in the manufacture of feed premixes and piglet feeds, Premier Nutrition’s nutrition team will collaborate and support the pig and duck feed business of DongA One Corporation in the Korean market.
By signing the agreement, the companies’ acknowledge the mutual respect of each other’s businesses and shared optimism for growth together in Korea, one of Asia’s largest animal feed markets.
Ian Atterbury, International Business Manager for AB Agri’s subsidiary Premier Nutrition commented: “Despite serious challenges to its livestock industry in recent years, the South Korean feed industry has proved resilient and is continuing to develop into a successful and mature market. This is an opportunity for Premier Nutrition to bring its technical expertise and food safe premixing know-how to a new and highly competitive export region”.
