India: Jaipur to receive new cattle feed plant

Many ideas suggested by the Vasundhara Raje government during its last tenure in 2005 & 2006 for farmers, animal husbandry, dairy and fisheries departments will be implemented in the next 2 months. According to the Times of India.

Jaipur will get a cattle feed plant in Kaladera village and also a milk-testing lab to be set up in Mansarover.

Agreeing to several important issues needed not only for the welfare of farmers but also for infrastructural development in dairy & fisheries Raje also asked minister Prabhu Lal Saini to execute the things discussed, reviewed and planned in the meeting in the stipulated deadline of 60 days.

Saini after the meeting told TOI: “We are planning to establish a cattle feed plant for which the foundation stone-laying would be done within 1 month.”

In order to avoid contamination in milk, a milk-testing lab would be established in Mansarover area in Jaipur. The dairy sector will receive 100 milk cooling units to avoid milk getting spoiled in summer.
