Webinar on overcoming BCO lameness without antibiotics

Registration is now open for the World Poultry / All About Feed webinar on overcoming BCO lameness without antibiotics. It will be held on November 18 in cooperation with Biomin.

BCO lameness is a growing problem in modern poultry that hampers bird performance and profitability. It restricts birds’ natural movement, often reducing feed and water intake, and constitutes a significant factor in morbidity and mortality. Bacterial chondronecrosis and osteomyelitis (BCO) lameness often requires an antibiotic treatment strategy. Fortunately, recent scientific research offers insight into addressing these issues, notably through better gut performance.

On the 18th of November, CET 16.00 – 17.00 pm, two renowned experts will share these latest scientific insights on this emerging topic.

The webinar will be kicked off by distinguished guest speaker, Prof Robert Wideman of the Department of Poultry Science at the University of Arkansas, USA, will share results of a recent study on the development of lameness in poultry.
