Carol Kitchen new VP at Land O’Lakes
Carol Kitchen, an employee within Land O’Lakes Purina Feed, was named Vice President of Business to Business for the organization.
Her new responsibilities include managing several of Land O’Lakes Purina Feed’s operations and international
sales.
She will be responsible for the business unit’s Nutrablend and Thomas
Products businesses. Kitchen also will manage Innovative Proteins, another
company subsidiary located in Maquoketa, Iowa, and LabDiet, the company’s lab
animal feed business. In addition, she will oversee Feed’s international
business in such regions as Asia, Mexico and Latin America.
Kitchen was
most recently director of Strategic Planning and International Development in
Feed. Prior to that, she was controller and helped to coordinate the integration
of Purina Mills in 2001 to create North America’s leading feed company — Land
O’Lakes Purina Feed.
More recently, she participated in a key study assessing
the overall agricultural services marketplace resulting in the development of
long-term strategic options for the company.
