Organic certification for oregano supplement
Ropadiar, the oregano-based supplement for livestock, has been certified for inclusion in pig and poultry diets by Organic Farmers and Growers (OF&G), a leading UK organic control body.
The patented product developed by Ropapharm International, is distributed in the UK by Suffolk-based GE Baker Ltd (Quality Equipment). It contains highly-effective oregano oils which have a positive effect on feed intake, particularly during periods of high performance, contributing to the well-being of the birds, or pigs, and thus improving profit.
Normally included in the diet at the rate of around 1 kg per tonne, as a natural product it requires no withdrawal period.
