The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has published a report “ Development concept of poultry farming until 2020” which forecasts the consumption of feed resources for the next 8 years.
According to the official forecasts for 2020, Russia is to produce 4.5 million tonnes of poultry meat, which will be about 26% more than in 2012.
According to the forecast, consumption for the same period will increase by 21%, meaning Russian poultry farmers have to increase the rate of production efficiency.
