New system allows automatic and precise feeding

Dutch company Trioliet will present its revolutionary Triomatic automatic feed system at the coming EuroTier in Germany.

Every dairy farmer likes to feed the cows more and better, as research shows
that an increased meal frequency supports better health and an increased milk
production. However, due to practical circumstances, this is not always
possible. The new automatic feeding system from Trioliet can be very helpful for
these farmers, who want to feed more precise and accurate in an automated
way.

The main advantages of the system are:

1. Labour reduction: The time needed for mixing and dosing will be reduced
completely
2. More flexibility: The system is designed in such a way that it
can feed autonomously for several days, without losing quality of the feed
3.
Technological improvements: Feeding smaller groups in a higher frequency becomes
easier
4. Economical advantages: Less mechanisation- and energy costs
5.
The system can be combined with other activities
6. The system is useful for large herds: 100 to 400 dairy
cattle is no problem

The first
Triomatic system has been installed recently at the
dairy farm of Henry Petter in the Netherlands.
