The European Probiotic Association (EPA), originally established in 1999, is an association of the companies involved in the production and registration of probiotics, for sale primarily inside the European Union.

The EPA believes it is best to work together in order to secure the sustainable developments of the use of probiotics in animal nutrition through a generic promotion of probiotics.
