The
potential for growth in the Australian aquaculture industry is undisputed. Some
say that it is a predominantly production orientated industry, focused on a
species' capacity to be cultivated rather than the markets' demand for the
product. This approach is slowly changing in some areas of the industry, and
the market-focussed enterprises are likely to prosper and grow.
