Consumers want to know exactly what they are buying, especially when it comes to foodstuff and beverages. Until recently, the idea that the entire added-value chain could be retraced sounded like a promising notion of the future. But now there is such a global, electronic system available, which allows complete traceability of foodstuffs and animal feed. BASF developed this innovative tool together with the Norwegian company TraceTracker®.
