What do Europe’s citizens think about the CAP?

How do Europeans regard spending money on agriculture? Almost half the European Union’s budget is spent on its Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). Strangely enough, only 50% of the Europeans have ever heard of this farm policy. This is one of the findings of a survey the European Commission conducted under the urobarometer initiative.
