Young
ducklings are particularly sensitive to aflatoxin and ducks are about 200 times
more sensitive than broilers and layers. Metabolites of these toxins can enter
the food chain through animal products. Therefore, the aflatoxins should
already be found in the feed. In Thailand the effect of glucomannans
as a binding agent was studies.
