Nutreco profits from stock market malaise

The current malaise on the stock market will probably lead to more acquisitions, says Nutreco's board chairman Wout Dekker.

The currently low-priced shares give opportunities, according to Dekker, also for Nutreco. Last year, the board of Nutreco did not proceede with certain transactions because they were too expensive at that time. Now we give these transactions a second look, sais Dekker.

Nutreco wants to double its results in 2010 , primarily by expanding its presence in Western Europe.
