Belarus harvested less grains in 2006

Belarusian farms harvested 5.924 mln tonnes of grains that totals 86% from the forecasted index, according to recent data from the Ministry of Statistics and analysis.

Also, the Ministry noticed that grain harvest reduced by 8% than in 2005. According to statistics grain yield in clean weight totalled 2.46 tonne per hectare in 2006 against 2.77 tonne per hectare in 2005.
