Bioavailability of minerals in the horse

Animal species, life stage, health and nutrition all affect the bioavailability of minerals, but it might be different in horses. At the 3rd European equine health and nutrition congress, held in Belgium, Ellen Kniezle and Natalie Zorn gave an overview of the main mineral issues in horses.
