Wednesday. However, there is no link between this incidence and the pet food

companies to alert and educate them about the recent voluntary recall of feed
ingredients due to melamine contamination. The recall is the result of apparent
melamine use in ingredients by a contract manufacturer.
Nutreco Holding has acquired the remaining 40% shares in Tenusa Trouw
Nutrition Mexico. With the acquisition of a majority stake in the family- owned
Mexican premix and speciality feed company Tenusa in 2005, parties agreed that
Nutreco would gain full ownership within a defined

Tembec, the Ohio company that produced animal feed ingredients containing the

not properly register with the state as a feed manufacturer, the Ohio Department

chickens without antibiotics. "It's big news when the largest chicken producer
in the country uses an antibiotic-free label to gain a competitive advantage,"
according to David Wallinga, M.D., director of the Food and Health Program at
