The lawsuit was filed by Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller. "We alleged a
series of violations relating to water pollution, wastewater pretreatment and
solid waste," he said. The mid-summer 2006 violation involved sludge being
improperly disposed of in a local field, which resulted in the death of nearly
600 fish in an area river.
