Sloten B.V., a Nutreco company, made this investment
to enlarge its storage capacity of dairy raw materials. This enables the company
to use raw materials even more flexible in its production process. A big crane
hoisted up the 25 meters high silo to be installed. These new silos have a 200
meters cubic content. This brings the total amount of Sloten’s silos in Deventer
at 30.
Steffen Rouwers, Technical Director of Sloten, explains: "We more and more find variety in dairy raw materials in the young animal feed market.
The new silos will give us the opportunity to better concentrate our raw material selection on market demand and maintain consistent product quality. We greatly value our high standards."
