The aim of the study is to analyse the feed
consumption in the EU, and, based on this analysis, to develop a quantitative
model to estimate the annual demand for feed concentrates in the European Union,
by Member State, category of animals, physiological stage, livestock production
system and feeding system. The model will also take into account the prices and
the availability of the different feed concentrates and the raw materials used
to produce them.
The maximum budget attributed to this project is € 299,999. The deadline for submitting offers expires on 12 November 2008. The Commission intends to award the contract before the end of 2008, following the evaluation of the offers received. The contractor will have to carry out the study within 9 months from the signature of the contract.
