Ukrainian pork producer invests in feed production

//03 Feb 2012
APK-Invest Company (Donetsk region), one of Ukraine’s largest pork producers, plans to invest UAH 300 Ml (€28.4m) in compound feed production by 2015 and boost compound feed output 2.2 times against 2011.
According to the company’s report of January 26, it expects to reach an annual output level of 200,000 tonnes of compound feed by 2015.

The press release indicated that APK-Invest boosted compound feed production by 50% year-on-year in 2011 to 90,000 tonnes.

The company notes that this growth was achieved by expanding production capacities of its existing feed mill.

All finished products of the mill are currently used for feeding own livestock.
