Pellets or crumbles make a difference in shrimp feeding

The external physical properties of shrimp feed have a huge variety, but their necessity is questionable. Results of relevant trials have proven that juvenile Penaeus monodon develop substantially better on pelleted starter feed than on crumbled feed. There is no need to feed juvenile Macrobrachium rosenbergii with two types of crumbled starter feed, because there is no difference between both feeding systems. The length of the pellets (short or long) has no effect on the growth of Panaeus monodon.
