Compacting mash feed an alternative to expanding

The BOA Compactor is a typical combination of compacting and thermal treatment of the feed mixture. For industrial manufacture of feed the BOA is mainly used as a compacting machine before the pelletmill in order to improve pellet quality and the hygienic state of the feed. However, some feedmillers use the BOA Compactor as a single compacting device and by pass the pelletpress to send the feed directly to the cooler and sell it as a mash feed on the market.
