Despite being a menace to health and productivity in animals and a long-term concern for human health, we are still somewhat in the dark about mycotoxins. Scientists the world over met recently in the Netherlands to discuss the current state of our knowledge, and how far we have come in assessing and tackling the problem through a combination of science and legislation.
