Phytase quality suffers from steam pelleting and storage temperature

The use of phytase in animal feed still shows some practical difficulties. There is an important influence of process parameters: the die, the conditioning  temperature and time, the feed composition. As the parameters can differ from one production unit to another, it can be difficult to predict the phytase recovery in the pellet.
