The first of April, 2015 is an historical date for the European dairy industry. After 30 years of regulated milk production the milk quota will be abolished. During this period the environment in which milk is produced has changed. Public concerns, environmental considerations, legal restrictions and consumer demands have altered.

During this conference consequences of lifting production restrictions will be discussed with a special emphasis on the role of feed and nutrition on productivity and economics of dairy production.

This will be an interesting one day conference for all involved in dairy production, especially for those who play an important role in advising directly or indirectly dairy farmers.
