Cargill signs agreement with DENCO

Cargill Animal Nutrition, DENCO, LLC, and Golden Lyk, LLC, a subsidiary of DENCO, Morris, Minnesota, US, have reached an agreement for Cargill to provide distribution, marketing, and nutritional expertise to Golden Lyk supplement products.

The agreement includes a toll manufacturing arrangement, as well as exclusive marketing rights to Golden Lyk products under a trademark licensing agreement. In addition, there is an option agreement for the future purchase of the Golden Lyk business.

"We are very pleased to enter into this business relationship with Cargill," Gerald Bachmeier, chief manager at DENCO said. "They have an extensive marketing organization that will help make the Golden Lyk products available through more distribution points.

Great addition to Cargill
"The Golden Lyk technologies will be a great addition to Cargill Animal Nutrition," said Randy Overbaugh, business development manager, Cargill Animal Nutrition. "Golden Lyk's technology utilizes natural protein and energy sources in its supplement formulations for cattle, horses, sheep and deer. We feel Golden Lyk's technologies create a new market category that fits well into today's environmentally conscious culture. We really like what we see with this new product line."
