The european Green Light label given to Clextral

Clextral has been awarded the Green Light label by the European Commission. The label is given to the non-residential sector who are committed to a more sustainable lighting thus reducing their CO2 emmissions.

For over ten years, Clextral has been collaborating with the Belgian company Etap Lighting for the renovation of its lighting equipment in manufacturing and assembly workshops and store. Throught this partnership Clextral has progressively replaced older generations of fluorescent lamps and mercury vapor bulbs with more energy efficient and better performing new systems.

Too old or poorly maintained lighting systems provoke energy losses, a lack of visibility and fatigue for staff.

The Green Light Label program was launched in February 2000.
