Applications in pig diets
Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) can make a significant contribution to a number of aspects of pig production.
LAB can have beneficial effects on both the intestinal ecosystem and the gut villi.
They may also modulate the pig's immune response. Also, the addition of both live and inactivated yeast products has gained growing interest during the last few years, despite their differences in efficacy.
