Nestlé PetCare keeps on growing

Pet food giant Nestlé PetCare proved its strong performance by showing a 7.1% organic growth in the first 9 months of 2007. Reported sales were £3,700 million in the same period.

The company attributed the growth to the movement of its portfolio towards the premium and super-premium pet food market segments. Nestlé's overall sales for January to September were up 9% on the same period last year. Real internal growth in its Petcare Division is reported at 4.1%. Top performing brands included Pro Plan and Bakers Complete .
