Company: Oakes Millers aquires M E Waterhouse

A new term loan was arranged by Barclays Relationship Director Shaun Cross to assist Oakes Millers with the acquisition of a long-established mill operation based in Malpas, Cheshire. This is in addition to current term debt and working capital facilities provided to the Oakes Millers group of companies.

“This acquisition will enable us to expand our production capacity and bring increased manufacturing flexibility to the Oakes Millers Group in line with the significant increase in sales volumes we have experienced in recent years,” said John Lea, chairman of Oakes Millers.

“Bringing this asset into the Oakes Millers business will provide the group with the opportunity to further develop our product range to meet the changing demands of our customer base.”
