Romania wants EU to be less strict concerning GM crops

The EU has been asked by Romania’s national federation of farm producers to make it possible for the cultivation of more genetically modified crops (GM).

The chairman of Romania‘s national federation stated that the EU should adopt a less conservative view concerning GM crops.

It said that the EU’s current stance is halting economic prosperity of the continent in the absence of new technologies, according to a report by All Headline News.
