New appointments at Norel Animal nutrition

Norel are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Irene Margüenda in the Technical Department. She studied Agronomy Engineering and also obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies. She has experience in animal nutrition as she worked in Nutreco and CESFAC companies before joining Norel. She has experience in animal nutrition, animal husbandry, farm management and critical analysis of experimental performances, as well as knowledge in R&D such as development of new products, budgeting and grants and subsidies for R&D activities.

Irene was also involved in legislation, and technical advices. As a researcher, she has written several papers in scientific publications, and gave presentations at different science symposiums. She will be in charge of Research and Development Documentation as well as regulation and legislation.

Also Norel has appointed Nutrient BioAgro Tech, Pune as new distributor for India and Sri Lanka. This company has an extensive and successful experience in those markets, which could be crucial for the penetration of the products in the industry.

Mr. Yashwant Datar, General Manager, said that the expertise of Norel in fats and feed additives and the marketing experience of NBPL will establish Norel as a major player in both the markets for poultry. He further mentioned that Indian sub-continent is a growing market and needs good products to improve the production. Hence is confident about products like Gustor range, Qualitegg and Glymet Poultry from Norel which are new to these markets.

Norel will focusing on training the sales staff of NBPL and proper promotion of products through magazines and participation at various events in the region.
