Euroduna sole distributor for Hamlet in Germany
Horsens, Denmark based protein manufacturer Hamlet Protein has appointed Euroduna Rohstoffe GmbH to become the sole-representative for selling Hamlet’s soy protein range on the German feed market.
The agreement will be implemented during 2010. To drive the cooperation between the two companies Fons Hegeman has joined Hamlet Protein as sales manager for the German market.
Søren Bank, Chief Commercial Officer of Hamplet Protein says: “We see Euroduna as a strong partner within the feed industry with their focus on unique speciality feed ingredients.
“Working with Euroduna in the German market will not only strengthen our position with our existing customers but it will also be instrumental in implementing our strategy to reach new business segments within the speciality animal feed market”.
Dr. Bernhard Herbort, Business Development Manager Euroduna said: “Our decision for a co-operation with Hamlet Protein is based on long-term oriented strategic considerations.
“We appreciate the technological experience and innovative power of our new partner, which will result in new ingredient solutions. And we shall transform these strengths together with our marketing experience for feed ingredient specialities into sustainable support of our customers from the piglet feed, calf milk replacer and petfood industry”.
Until the new distribution agreement takes full effect, Fons Hegeman will be Hamlet Protein’s sales contact for all of the German market.
