The average price of raw materials (in France) incorporated for animal feed increased by 3.2% in June 2012 and 8% year on year. Primarily responsible for this increase is soybean meal, according to data of Coop de France.
The price of soybean meal from Lorient stood at €423 per tonne in June 2012, up 4.9% compared to May and up 42.6% over the year indicates Coop de France animal nutrition in its monthly scorecard of 5 July 2012.

Index prices from IPAA for raw materials in animal feed increased by 3.2% in June and 8% year on year. ITAVI calculated that the cost of raw materials used in feed for chickens rose 2.6% in June and 3.6% year on year. And the index of the IFIP price of pig feed growth rose 1.9% in June (-0.4% yoy).
