Feed Management Systems (FMS), announced today the global availability of an enhanced version of Brill Formulation, which includes dozens of new capabilities that leading feed manufacturers say will improve their production efficiency and accuracy.

Brill Formulation 2.5, the latest version of the market-leading feed formulation software solution, adds 30 new capabilities to its already rich features set.  The new version is a ‘must have’ for feed producers who want to reduce administrative costs, enhance their productivity and improve the accuracy of their formulation.

According to Duey Yliniemi, FMS Vice President of Product Strategy and Development, “Customers who use our solutions every day are at the very heart of our product development philosophy. They provide us with a real-time view of their business challenges, enabling us to leverage our deep formulation and operations expertise and create the best solutions for their business. The Brill® 2.5 software solution is a good example of how we work with customers to help address business challenges,” he explained.

According to the company, a majority of feed manufacturers who provided input on Brill Formulation 2.5 consistently voiced a need for the following capabilities, which have been incorporated into the solution.

Highlights of the new Brill Formulation 2.5 include the ability to:

  • Input and use longer nutrient names
  • Increase capacity for stored formula comments
  • Delete a nutrient from all ingredients
  • Compare new vs. stored formulas

In addition, the new Brill 2.5 software solution delivers more time-saving safeguards against input errors, and additional data management capabilities. Brill Formulation, an FMS brand, is the leading formulation solution in the world. It is sold globally through a network of FMS resellers.
