Nuscience acquires Serbian premix company Novi Mix
Nuscience, producer of premix, concentrates, mineral mixes has became the sole owner of the Serbian company Novi Mix. It acquired a 51 percent interest in the company last year, and has now acquired the rest of the shared ownership.
Following the acquisition of the majority package of Novi Mix d.o.o., the Serbian company changed its name to Nuscience Premix International d.o.o. “In the modern Velika Plana plant we are able to produce high-quality vitamin and mineral premixes for the needs in the Serbian market”.
To achieve the expected growth of 25 to 40% this year and 50% next year, NPI’s sales and technical staff will be trained thoroughly in feed formulation and farm management. They will also introduce Aromabiotic, a patented solution of Medium Chain Fatty Acids, and Young Animal Nutrition to the Serbian Market. The company, with its new name Nuscience Premix International d.o.o., its new approach and international look, has already made its first appearance on the International Agricultural Fair of Novi Sad in May 2014, by taking part of this year’s Partner Country Netherland’s Main Hall exhibition.
“In the last year we have seen that the Serbian market is changing rapidly and feed suppliers want to buy high quality premixes instead of producing them more and more” said Patrick Keereman, CEO of Nuscience Group. “Midterm, the access to the European market will further support this tendency”.
